40 hectares of vineyards thrive on Cheriton's rich loams and there is potential to expand this to over 100 hectares. Winegrapes have been sold to Houghtons, Evans & Tate, Sandalford and Goundrey Wines.

Cheriton chardonnay in Sandalford wines has been described as 'more refined than most of the chardonnays in its price bracket. Clean stone-fruit and spice aromas; lemon citrus notes on a tight, refined palate'. Cheriton earned a quality bonus from Constellation Brands in the 2008 vintage for its chenin blanc.

Cheriton is a high quality, low-risk viticulture area for white wines and dessert styles..
